Should be a good game. I wouldn't be overly surprised if Souths took it out, they're playing desperation football and Broncs have got at least third locked up. While I'm sure they would like to finish 2nd and go into the finals with momentum, this game will mean a lot more to the rabbits.

It will also be good seeing them clash outside of a dam this time...

I am taking my kids to this game, it will be their first Broncos match. Expecting a big crowd and a high scoring game. Really looking forward to seeing whether Souths finally have what it takes.

Npz about taking down the old knitters up there. They were their own worst enemies -and everytime I watch them, at least one or two players get injured bad. Fkn pansies!

If Manly win on Friday night I would hope they rest Hodges for this game -since it means we finish top 3 win or lose. I would also love to see the glue sniffers make the 8th over any other team as I think they will give the ladder a good shake up!

That is the official word so far. According to the Ins and Outs video on the Broncos site he is even a chance for this Sunday.
I doubt he will play though, seems like plenty of risk for little reward.

Anyway, regarding the game, I believe it will be a lopsided affair, because we have the defense to hold off your strong attack, but the same cannot be said of your side. Broncos by plenty!

we'll see mate. The thing about our attack, though, is you don't know what we're going to throw at you... it could be the crap we saw earlier in the year, or the fluency and desperation of the last 4 weeks... unpredictable attacks are the hardest ones to defend against...

having said that, you guy's attack absolutely is miles ahead of our defence, and you guys should win this... i just hope your team goes into the game with an overdose of that very mentality ;-)

I haven't let myself get carried away with our shot at the finals, even as they have become better and better... but if we can manage to win this one, i'll be a believer.

My prediction? We'll fight hard, but lose the opening exchanges. You guys will get a comfortable lead, Locky will be benched for the remainder, and we'll make a surge that is just a little bit too late to get the win... I wonder if TAB has a market on that :sarcasm:

The Broncos are in danger from 2 main sources - Inglis and Taylor. Inglis is known to be a big game player and coming up against his Qld team mates in front of what should be close to a sell out crowd with his side in form and desperately fighting for a spot in the 8? Please. Taylor up against his old club and I seem to remember he was ripping us apart in Perth.

Chuck in a good game from Sandow, Luke and Merritt and we might just have a game on our hands here.
