Did Carney really quit without a lifeline? I thought Uncle Nick would sort something out for sure. Roosters should keep him and sack Smith. Let him drink, cut sick on the piss, set peoples pants on fire and as long as he plays good footy dont fuss over it too much.

He's a year older than me, i drink, heavily in fact, most would say too much
i have never been charged with anything.
You can drink heavily and be a tool, no one really cares, all we ask is that you respect the laws, which is the bare minimum that every citizen must abide by. Todd cant when he's on the drink.

That wont change anytime soon, generally the type of people who have shown such disregard for the law, are the type that continue to show no regard well into their 40's

I've never been charged with anything because I've never been caught. Carney is a choir boy compared to where I've been. He's being crucified for misdemeanors.

44 years with a good woman and fabulous offspring have made as much difference to me as I'm sure will happen when Carney finds the right support.

Doesn't help when he's persecuted by people who have nothing better to worry about than a game.

If I was getting paid as much as he was and I was asked to behave myself and not drink for a while, I think I could manage it.

After the season he had where he didn't drink you'd think something would click.

So many kids would give everything to have what he has and he just takes it all for granted.
