Logically/statistically/unemotionally, it is accurate to say that someone at that weight will be lucky to make it to 50. That is completely different from saying you want someone to die.
The obesity epidemic in this country is a ticking timebomb, gen x/gen y could be the first generation in Australia's history to not live to an older age than their parents.
I want nothing more than for Tinkler and everyone who is like him to eat better, be more active and live a long life. Every overweight person that doesn't will bite taxpayers in the arse when they land in hospital. 10-20 years down the track it is very possible the health budget will be bigger than we can afford. That's a concern for people of my age who will be paying taxes for the next 50 years.
