David Furner is Raiders' second longest serving coach and the coach with the second worst winning percentage in the history of Canberra Raiders. Is he going to become the longest serving coach and the coach with the worst winning percentage. :D

Very few NRL clubs would be happy to persist with a coach like this, regardless the reason/s of under-performance..

I think it's time for a change.....ok...even if Furner's a good coach, I still think a change is likely to do Canberra some good.

Nah mate, can't blame the coach for the results. They aren't his responsibility.

I can remember when Mal was coach there was much discontent with his coaching and calls for his head, which of course happened with the appointment of Matt Elliott. When you look back at Mal's stats, 53% after 5years, that's not all that bad compared with all but a few of the super coaches. Unfortunate for Mal was the fact he coached during a time when expectations were high, a result of our golden 'Sheens' era.

The expectations now are far less ... the bar for Dave Furner has been set so low that an U8's coach could make the grade ... most supporters are just happy with an occasional win against a top 4 side, ohh and of course our domination against StG/Ill keeps the faihful happy.

And why has the bar been set so low ?? ... ask Dave's brother, dad and sundry friends that run the club.
