I went to the info nights.
I have been a resident for most of my life ..still am ...home owner, rate payer and sharks supporter.
I have a family and kids that go to school here, and I dare say I do more than most men I know in terms of family commitments....and I still still went to the info nights.
My wife will work 6 nights a week for the next 3 weeks...plus her 9 to 5 day job.

It is such an important time in the shire not only for the Sharks that I made the time.
I could not buy a home in Cronulla..there is virtually nothing unless you are extremely wealthy.
So I had to move further out in the shire...not that I wanted to.

You live nowhere near here and have no concept of what is where .
You need to do some research in future.

They also let an oil refinery be built in Kurnell.
They allowed sand mining...the dunes are gone.
They allowed a nuclear reactor and to be built at Lucas Heights.

But now ....only now they are crying.
The development is not a f**king stinking plant pumping shit into the sky .
It is housing for the shires young people.
Maybe they won't be able to buy but thay can rent there.
It is extremely hard to find rental accom in the shire.
It is shopping..also a bitch of an exercise currently .
It is employment for well over 1000 people!!

The issues I have raised are valid and the fact the Sharks are dependant upon this development to survive is not relevant to the issue.

The issues of flooding, impact on existing centres and many other issues need to be addressed satisfactorily by the developer. You can visit the exhibition at the Council or Cronulla Centre to confirm this fact.

Attendance or otherwise at the developer's presentation night is hardly relevant to the issue.
