When people say you 'shouldn't' eat red meat more than once a day...what exactly are the suppose consequences of this, other than good taste and satisfaction?

It's because of how well your body digests it, our bodies can't digest that much meat in a day, and this will cause you problems later in life, particularly if there's a history of bowel cancer in your family.

This child wouldn't have nightmares about what happened because you killed the person responsible?

Do Psychiatrists of the world know this information as well?

They wouldn't have nightmares about that guy coming back to rape again.

You're saying the same thing over and over but its not actually helping your point.

I'd rather eat large amounts of meat 3 times a day for the rest of my life and die of cancer than eat a pissy amount of meat once a day and die of old age/probably get cancer from something else anyway

I'd rather enjoy my life rather than worrying if that steak I had in 2009 is going to come back and haunt me when I'm 70

A post with nothing new posted usually indicates a poster completely out of ideas tommax

No matter though, maybe one day Psychiatrists and law makers discover what you already know and can understand the link between murder and prevention of victims subsequent nightmares.

Can this be used in other situations where people develop PTSD and nightmares? Motor vehicle accidents for example, kill the at fault driver to prevent reliving the incident it their dreams?

What do you think?

:)

I only said murder, Raider 69 brought rape into it as one of his person murder points. If your brother murdered his kid it would be right for him to kill your brother and not for you to retaliate, otherwise if would be neverending as you said.

No that is the cowards way out. If you stand by your revenge rhetoric at least have the decency to loose your life in the quest for revenge. I am all for revenge fetishists potentially being killed themselves to separate the men from the boys in the revenge stakes.

See how much you care about revenge when you can be potentially killed by a member of the other guys family. (as they could be too)

At the end of the day people complain about Australias nanny state and its no wonder we have one when people actively care what people choose to eat. Vegetarians have existed for thousands of years, live perfectly happy and healthy lives and some people just get so angry at that. Why would anyone possibly care. :?

Personally I'm in the "food is fuel" and I'd rather be in tip top shape to tick off epic climbs than enjoy bad food. When you eat food which isn't good for you the enjoyment last like 5 minutes, sorry but I'd take ticking off some epic climbing routes over eating a bucket of peanut m&ms everyday.

Point is eating shit food daily or not having a balanced diet impacts on your fitness levels, and will hold you back. My fitness is more important to me than food, if yours isn't, that's your prerogative.

Eating tasty foods (i.e. enjoying life) >>>>>> Epic climbing

Edit: In realising that epic climbing is you enjoying your life, I say each to his own

I enjoy life by climbing outdoors, it's an amazing feeling. If your idea of enjoying life is eating, I feel sorry for you.

But do you get a greater sense of accomplishment from eating these tasty foods than climbing?

I suppose if you're paying for said tasty foods with your weeks pay...then maybe.

I went through a phase of wanting to get extremely fit once. I even had a six-pack for a while, though the only way I got it was by giving up drinking and eating foods that were even remotely tasty, at which point I realised I was f**king miserable. I still maintain a high degree of fitness by going to the gym 5 nights a week, but I also let myself enjoy life by getting trashed on a friday/saturday night and eating foods that taste good. Hence, each to his own
