Can he make it to the 2015 World Cup as his swansong? Best limited overs bowler i've seen despite all the criticism he gets around here. He has never failed in a big limited overs match, proven tonight by how well he bowled in the T20 final. Every ball in his last 2 overs was a yorker, let alone his 2 wickets in the first over. He may have bowled 2 wides but his intention was right and did not cost the sixers whatsoever.

I have no doubt he can continue to perform in the shorter form of the game for a few years to come. He may have slown his pace down a good 5-10k's but he has come up with good variety in his bowling and is far more accurate, plus his record in OD form in particular speaks for itself. He could quite easily finish his career as the leading wicket taker in OD history, and a 4.7 economy rate in this day and age by my standards is very acceptable.

What criticism does he get around here from limited overs games?

With the talented fast bowlers coming along he will have to keep his form up else he'll be replaced by one of them.

McGrath beats the shit out of Lee as an ODI bowler.

In saying that Lee definitely improved as he got older in the ODI format and was a genuine wicket taker in the 50 over game as his record suggests. His 20-20 stats are nothing to ride home about and he was an overrated pie chucker in tests. Probably one of our most overrated TEST bowlers.

Brett Lee's test perfromance ssuffered from being ruined by injuries between 01 and 05. His record 05 onwards is pretty damn good, 150 wickets at 27 or so over 30 odd tests. Coincided with having a sustained period of fitness.

Very good one day bowler though I dont think he'll make 2015

Binga always swung the white ball more than the red..

I always thought he was a lot better ODI player than a test player..

Just like Mitchell Johnson..
