-People who use like and umm with regularity
I had this lecturer in my third year at uni who used 'ummm' an insane amount of times. I started tallying once (and almost developed a twitch as a result) and she said "ummm" over 300 times per hour, and by hour, I mean only 40 minutes of her actually lecturing. That's at least one every 8 seconds

The funniest thing is that it didn't take people long to realise what I was tallying and they were all curious about it too. I should have started taking wagers on how many she would say each hour

Beats learning. I once had a lecturer whose voice I couldn't stand, so I just stopped going. I didn't mind the subject either, it was just her whiny little asian voice. And she said ok a lot, probably with the same regularity as your lecturer, but she sounded like Joe Pesci doing Leo Getz

my subject was one that was important to me, but it became a lost cause when she started teaching it.

The worst thing about that was that this was a subject usually taught by this awesome philosopher who is one of the top people in the world in the field. Stupid uni ripped me off :fist:

I still did the subject, just didn't attend lectures, didn't really miss much to be honest I think. One of my mates did the same subject the semester before and he did the exact same thing I did. I love the uni lifestyle, If I didn't feel pressured to finish uni, I don't think I'd ever leave tbh

I used to feel the same, minus any pressure to ever leave, but I got over that when I started getting jerked around by the bureaucratic bullshit which happens to be a significant part of uni. Oh and honours majorly sucks balls

Sports people who make that shush gesture to the crowd. Where they put their finger to their lips. I see it as a sign of arrogance. Makes me wanna punch 'em in the face or at the very least flip 'em the bird.

obituaries - the word, not the actual things. It's pronounced 'orbituaries', I really think it should be spelt that way. It annoys me that 'orbituaries' is not the correct spelling of that word

Coat hangers piss me off. How the f**k do they always get tangled up?

The power cord return button on vacuum cleaners, sometimes they wont work, other times they suck the cord in so fast the end of it wacks you on your foot.

I think my ears aren't level, so when I wear glasses, they will sit slanted unless I put one side in my hair rather than the regular spot. My sunglasses are so big that it doesn't really matter, but because eyeglasses are thinner, I can't help noticing the all the freaking time and it is SOOO annoying

People who waste dishes.

This would have made my who cares list, but since our dishwasher broke before Christmas it's really been given me the s**ts. My dad in particular has plate OCD and I don't think he realises as long as his plate isn't too dirty he can re-use it.

Clean all the plates before dinner and 24 hours later, somehow my family has gone through 10-12 plates and we're running low again.

This is multiplied when I have to clean pots, pans and trays. Especially if my bro has been using them.

Never had a dishwasher in my house, but washing dishes is piss easy so not really concerned.

Making my bed annoys me. Especially cos often it is midnight and im just going to bed when I notice there are no sheets on it
