While i am glad the Bennett era is behind us,the legacy he has left shouldn't go unnoticed.I still remember him saying 3 years ago that the soft underbelly the Dragons used to have will be no more.He instilled a mental hardness in our players which was evident last night and hopefully be a part of future Dragons teams. And one more thing ,I love my Dragons and I love the passion shown on this forum by fellow Dragons.

Bennett's legacy will be here for a while to come no doubt, our players are as tough as nails.

There is already a bit more variety in attack though I think this is a product of Steve Price credit must go to Pricey the boys were not afraid to chance their arm.

They also knew the Bennett tactics with Boyd sandwiched when the play was on!!!!..Real test will be against the tigers in a few weeks time...

Maybe Benny was smart enough to know that he'd taught the boys all he could, that he'd fixed up the underbelly, that he's built the wall...and maybe he knew that Price was better at the next phase...building the attack..

If we can maintain the squad and continue to blood Rein/De Belin/ King / Stanley - We can build for the future............early days yet////

Good start - we did try our hardest to lose it though. Fien has to go.

Hope his winning percentage at the end of the season matches it now

Getting Wayne Bennett to Saints was the best bit of business the Dragons have done in the last 30 years. What he has built in 3 years will last for quite a while. Great investment which has surely paid off.

Price is also a great choice to replace him cause he will only make it last longer seeing he was around when this new attitude came into the squad. Just like the Bronco's. When Bennett left they continued playing great footy using his structures he put in place.

Yeah I think our team is different post Bennet to the one that Henjack inherited.

They went hard on youth so it was always going to be a bumpy ride whilst the youngsters were blooded, it’s obviously paying better for them now though. We still have a decent blend of youth/experience. We're also not afraid to bring in players from elsewhere if need be.

first year under Henjak, they went to the prelim final, if Price matches/beats that i'll be happy.

One thing I have noticed is when the cameras go into the dressing room at half time the players still sit and listen and seem focused with Price as they did with Bennett........not like some of our former coaches where players would be walking around picking their nose, and scratching their arses and not paying any attention....gets back to having respect for the bloke in charge.....and the new boy seems to have earned that already.

I like the demeanor and body language that Price possesses already. It was a tense game towards the end there and looking up at the coaches box at Price when the camera showed him he did not flinch, seemed to be ice cool.

both are a lot better than bellyache, goes off all the time, even for minor things, the camera loves him because he always over reacts.

Yeah he blows up deluxe, you rarely ever see Bennett react that way do you.
