I appreciate the sentiment. This is a personal, private issue made public for the sake of earning advertising dollars from the broadcast of the "entertainment" show, ACA, to a million viewers.
Channel nine, particularly the ACA crew, the advertisers who place their products among such dubious media, and the million or so people who will watch this so called "current affairs" article should all be ashamed of themselves.
But I give a shit, and many others who work with family members of the Mellors or Ettingshausens also will, because we will have to try that bit harder to protect all the poor innocent parties who will now be the target of ridicule and abuse (mostly from children who are probably shown by their parents who are involved with making, advertising in or watching ACA that it is OK to bring personal business into the public sphere) from the unnecessary airing of this type of article on this show. Just to be clear- I don't really mind having to work harder, I mind that the potential for increased abuse exists, and even if I and others do work harder, innocent parties will still probably be hurt just to make money for ammoral media tycoons.
