who watched canberra tonight?

Wow what a performance by the raiders.That was a great display of how football should be played.Few teams will be able to stop melbourne.Here is one side who if they can put it together will be able too-Pehaps manly and the warriors can be added to the list-I still dont think manly will have it this year.

But the ball movement by the raiders was enjoyable.If you add up all the movement we may be lucky to have the same amount in a full year.
Once Dugan is fit again along with fensom this will be a very good and fun side to watch during the year.

The problem with having a game plan that you wont change is teams will work you out.And thats why we are worse than last year.Everybody knows our weakness this year and our tactics havent changed,Thats why teams like st george may be tough but wont win another GF with the same game plan.

i watched them, and great post, especially the bolded bits.....these are our biggest problem areas

offloads, second phase play, playing with width and using the ball are the ways to win currently. the game is no longer about simply holding onto the ball longer than the opposition and winning a war of attrition up the middle

Just wait till SK's 5 year plan is complete, we will give it to the raiders and any other side that throws the ball around :sarcasm:

I watched. Pleased to see Campo back in great form...Wests were woeful.
BTW .....Shaun Berrigan is a great buy for the Raiders. (i.e. in my opinion)
