Blair has played more mins than any of the 11 other players who have been in our forwards this year (he's the only forward to play every minute so far)

You can see that Blair isn't worth more than Heighington, Let alone being considered up there with the top players.

Ellis' stats shit on Blair's, and Ellis has had much less game time.

Time for Blair to put up, or go to BRET for a week.

Comparing Gallan or Ellis to Blair is absolutely madness. There are completely different classes of players.

Heighno really is looking past it at the moment as well but he is definitely adding more to our squad than Blair is.

You have to keep him in the run-on squad however if this form continues I would be bringing in the lawyers to get rid of him. This is the one time I am praying for an off-field indiscretion because at this stage he is going to kill this club.

The comparison to Gallen and Blair is really to show the massive gap between World Class and Blair.

That is all.

Not even close. You don't need to look at the stats to see that, but there they are, and they're telling no lies.

Cheers for the rundown, MU.

Those stats are quite alarming re. Blair.

Woods is looking good both stat-wise and on the field, except for the stupid penalties he continues to give away every week.

Woods numbers and performances have been a big step up from last year. He's lead the pack with Ellis this year, not bad for a rookie prop at all.

Fulton busts his arse but he is a good 15kgs too small to be a damaging forward.

Its a shame that two of the blokes in the team with the most ticker are our smallest, Fulton and Ryan.

Dont blame Blair.

It is not his fault. His statistics are exactly the same as what they have always been.

Blame the two wombats that signed him. Sheens and Humpty.

Or Dumb and Dumber.

Bug - I hope that you are proven wrong. I really do. Unfortunately I get the impression are being proven right and I think it will continue.

Great stats. He has been pathetic really, I never understood the hype even when he was at Melbourne.

These two men, made a decision, when Todd Payten and Simon Dwyer were not able to back up for 2012 and beyond, to release Bryce Gibbs and Andrew Fifita. They bought Matt BELL (Who?) and Adam BLAIR. Seriously WTF is going on? Wests now have the SOFTEST pack in the NRL. They will argue that they are saving money, the only money they are saving is Blairs jersey wont need to be washed as it has not gotten dirty yet. Dumb & Dumber have to go.

exactly.
in 2010 Blair played 22 matches for 1 try, 3 line breaks and averaged 65m a game. In 2011 he played 23 games for 2 line breaks, 1 try and averaged 83m a game
When Blair came out and said he wanted $500k a year, most people just laughed, seems only Sheens and Humphries took him seriously

There is no doubt Blair is a much better player than he has shown so far.

The problem for me is that will we ever see better given the poor structure of our side?

Why is Blair being camped out on the left when we never go down that side? Why would you pay so much for a wide running backrower if you aren't going to provide a structure that suits him?

Personally he should be moved to lock and play closer to the middle of the ruck.

Is he ? The real question to me is have we simply bought an average player and are we paying him like a superstar.

I think that is the best looking pack we can field at the moment however I think Heighington has performed better than Blair and deserves the lock spot however I wouldn't give it to him because we are playing Blair so much and I am praying he gets into some form.

I actually think Fulton is the best lock we have at the moment but as per the comments above regarding Blair I think Blair needs to be in the team.

Alternatively play Blair at prop and see how he goes.

Still I think we have bought a dud.

I honestly think he is a quality player. No doubt we overpaid, however.

I do agree that his last two years have been below average, his form hasn't been consistently excellent since 2009.

IMO Heighington and Fulton can't play in the same side, it's one or the other.

The odds of Sheens making much needed changes is about 56900000000/1 the man is a stubborn old bastard and will continue in his ways.

To be fair to Blair he has some upside. He has a quick play the ball and he appears reasonably agile on his feet for a big man. The thing is he has missed a lot of tackles when he was supposed to help out our defence and his attack has been poor.

I get the impression he cannot carry our forwards. Ellis for instance is something special whereas Blair doesn't appear to be.

I hope he finds form and proves me wrong.

I gave it a month, but he is getting worse by the week.

I am ALARMED by some of his efforts in defence and lack of leadership and talk out on the field.

Seriously if this continues it will be a club killer like people are saying. In a couple of months time if he is trotting out these borderline disgraceful performance he will exceed Teo hate with Tigers fans.

I was in the thick of the crowd last night and he was getting a fair few cat calls. I know it is very early days however the signs are BAD
