I'm actually disappointed with the board if this is true.
Sure, we may improve with a new coach, but I had more faith in Kearney moving us forward AS A CLUB than I did with either Hagan or Anderson.

The fact that he can't coach didn't bother you?

Part of me feels very sad for Steven Kearney. He genuinely seems like a good human being. On the other hand, I am so relieved. I hope that he secures other employment soon and that he has a great future. We now really need a long term coach. Chris Anderson isn't the answer, but I hope that JT gets a run.

I applaud the Parramatta RLFC for having the courage to take action for the betterment of their organisation

Kearny could not get his roster to play to their potential

I only hope the Raiders take a leaf & make the hard decision they need to make as well.

The timing is strange - why not let him see out the year? Only 7 games left anyway...

Oh, well. I liked Kearney's ideas, and he is a terrific guy. I wish him all the best for his future.

Avenger was right I think he predicted it.

Anyways, in saying that if we get Ricky Stuart I'll commit suicide. He is far from the answer, we need to appoint someone as interim for now and just wait and see what we can find.

Not sure who I want his replacement to be if this comes to fruition.
Can't say I'm surprised though, with all the hysteria and the board up for re-election.
Politics sucks sometimes.

I second this. Third coach in a row not to make it to their third year. Would have preferred that he at least his saw his contract out

To try and avoid the spoon, it's not uncommon for a team to win a string of games after a coach gets sacked.

#FingersCrossed

Good point. But if that was really their issue, surely they would have done this with more than 7 rounds remaining?

Maybe a combo deal of Lewis and Stuart is on the way

It's about time. Good luck to him though in whatever he chooses to do next, coaching would be a tough gig and Kearney is probably an example of how no matter how hard you try, sometimes you're just not suited to a certain career. I can post a bit more positively now too.
