Kearney to leave Parramatta

It's about time. Good luck to him though in whatever he chooses to do next, coaching would be a tough gig and Kearney is probably an example of how no matter how hard you try, sometimes you're just not suited to a certain career. I can post a bit more positively now too.

That was nicely put.

The timing is strange - why not let him see out the year? Only 7 games left anyway...

Oh, well. I liked Kearney's ideas, and he is a terrific guy. I wish him all the best for his future.

The sensible thing is to leave now, we had issues attracting players with his record no matter what we offeres.

This is an opportunity to get started again, dont worry there will be plenty of applicants for the job, I hear some good names too

Tacticaly hopeless.
We have a decent squad we have been lucky to win a game this year let alone 3.
Nolan is one to thank for the juniors we have signed.WHATS WRONG WITH RICKY?

I disagree. I believe he either should have seen out the year, or been sacked earlier (with enough time to actually mount up a challenge to try and avoid the spoon). Sacking him with 7 games to go (and two days before one of those games) seems a little odd...

Why should Roy be blamed, at the time SK was regarded as a coup.

Sometimes a good no 2 is just that, Peter Sharp and others come to mind, you hire the NZ National coach, schooled under Bellamy and it should work, give the guy a shot then you take action. when it doesnt work At least we have taken a stand

In my opinion, Ricky is no better tactically. Also, he is rather arrogant and seems to believe he can reinvent the wheel - why he would choose to go into an Origin game at Suncorp short of so many genuine props is beyond me (and why he would try to select Ben Creagh as a prop is beyond me, too).

It enables us adequate time to find a replacement at least, unlike the last 2 occasions where our coaches left in the off season, and possibly allow the new coach to have a say in the roster for next year.

As for the timing, suggests a replacement may have been found.

Which you would want, so he can start finalising his squad for next year.

Also makes me speculate, perhaps Sticky asked LLewis to hold off on his decision.........
