We have wrapped up the spoon in first grade.Next week if the titans win in under 20's(they play manly who are 3rd last) at home...we will have the double.
On the other side of the coin the bulldogs are coming first in both comps.Congratualtions.

Oh and about rnd1 or 2 i said canbera can win the comp.I remember some :sarcasm:
So it looks like they will finish in the 8.I would say the greatest achievment of any side this year.If you consider they lost campese for all year-Brett white as well along with 4-5 guys out for extended periods.
Take barba&casianoi
Slater & proctor
Thurston & Tamou
Inglis & geddes
carney & gibbs

out of there teams and most wouldnt compete.Good work to furner and the boys and im hoping they can suprise everyone and shake things up.
Oh and also To the west tigers:lol: ive always thought tim sheen is over rated

Wow a double spoon for the club would really be a vindication of the direction we were heading in the second year of supercoach's contract.

It feels so positive that we have a much more experienced coach coming to run the joint in just over one month :thumn:.

I can't imagine what it would be like to have that on your CV if you were applying for ANY sort of management position....."Managed to f**k up a grand final side in two short seasons...."

All but Kingston and Lowrie have played rep football. That's a pretty good side. I wish we had kept Galuvao and Kingston.

It was the systems he put in place. You don't get the wooden spoon in all grades without a system.

As an aside here:

You're equating Tamou to Brett White!?!?!

By all means blame SK for the 1st grade performance....but the U20s? There are some good football players there who have a couple of years of eligibility left in that comp. I frankly don't care if we go poorly on the table in that comp (for a year)....if that is necessary to sort out our development 'system'. How long has Nolan been here? 1 year? If we judge our u20s on a 1-year cycle we will be truly rooted.

Yeah agree unders 20's means nothing.Id rather 2 great players who make first grade and 15 average ones.than a team of 17 decent players who dont make first grade or become just nrl journey men

Also under 20's seems to be a game of who is more developed physicaly faster more than anything
