Owen Craigie was one of the most naturally gifted players of his generation.

Unfortanately he was also one of the hungriest, and not in a metephorical sense.

But there have been much worse players win a comp.

Go back and look at any comp from the 80s and there were f**kin nuffies in all those sides, especially on the bench.

Yep, Perry probably belongs on a list like this but his good form should be acknowledged.

Perry held his own & without him we honestly would have struggled. Defensively held his own, knew how to organise the general play to let Locky work his magic & he had a knack for finding open space in the in-goal that season.

I'd certainly take his 06 season over a fair few Wallace & Walters seasons.
