Good to see that this is taking place, but does anyone know who Las Vegas Warriors and California Condors are?

Coogee Dolphins retain Remembrance Cup title in a very physical hard hitting final against Utah Avalanche. The Dolphins controlled the entire first half owning 80% of the ball. The scoreline resembled this as they lead 10-0 at the break. However, the enormous hits the Utah boys were pulling off were sure to take a toll on the Dolphins bodies. The second half started off much the same as the first as the Dolphins led 14-0 early on. But the big hitting Avalanche shook the foundations one too many times and put on a spectacular last five minutes to score the try of the tournament off a miraculous flick pass. Coogee were too classy in the end and held onto their 14-4 to retain the 2012 Remembrance Cup.
All the day's scores to come later.*

Coogee Dolphins win Remembrance Cup in Las Vegas

The Coogee Dolphins from Australia have won the first ever International Rugby League Tournament held in Las Vegas on the weekend. It was standing room only to witness the final between the Dolphins and the Utah Avalanche from the USA. A large black cloud loomed above threatening the start of the final but as soon as the referee blew game on you knew there was nothing going to stop an International Rugby League final in Sin City. The Utah boys opened up with some bone crushing hits to let the Coogee boys know that they meant business. The Dolphins were patient to weather the storm and scored first to go up 4-0. They continued to take control of the first half owning 80% of the ball which saw them lead 10-0 at the break. The second half started where the first left off as the Dolphins scored early to lead 14-0. The Avalanche were relentless all game with big hits and were rewarded with a couple of repeat sets. This allowed Utah to put on a spectacular last five minutes to score the try of the tournament from a miraculous flick pass. Coogee’s class prevailed in the end as they held on to take the final out by 14-4. The MVP of the tournament was Coogee Dolphin’s centre Brad Marks. The best for the Utah Avalanche was prop Teki Nau.

The British Columbia Bulldogs finished in third place with their match against the Utah Avalanche as one of the best of the tournament as both teams didn’t take a backward step. They had played twice prior in the last few months which saw the Bulldogs victorious but not today, the Avalanche were too hungry to meet the Aussies in the final as the Bulldogs went down 14-4. The best for the British Columbia Bulldogs was centre Steve Bouchard.

The California Condors finished the tournament in fourth place. They had a couple of tough assignments early on but finished the tournament in winning fashion against the local boys, the Las Vegas Warriors. The Condors went into the break at halftime with a bit of breathing space being up 12-4. Warriors opened up the half with a try but the Condors hit back with their own. With the scores at 16-8 to the Condors the Warriors scored again and converted their kick to make it 16-14. The Condors goal line defence was phenomenal as they took the match out 16-14. The best for the California Condors was young prop Travis Whittlock.

The Las Vegas Warriors finished in fifth place. They were only knocked off by the California Condors by two points and were determined to win their last game against the British Columbia Bulldogs. It was a tight first half with the Warriors playing mistake free football, they led 4-0 at halftime. The Bulldogs scored first at the start of the second half to lock it up 4-4. The Warriors showed vast improvement throughout the tournament and were determined to score next, that they did under the post. They led 10-4 into the dying stages but the Bulldogs themselves scored one last time under the post to finish the game all locked up at 10-10. The best for the Las Vegas Warriors was Vaha “Superman” Esikia.

The tournament was a great success with the Coogee Dolphins taking out their 2nd Remembrance Cup and commemorating their 10th year anniversary of the Bali Bombings. All teams helped the Dolphins celebrate at McMullans Irish Pub and are looking forward to next year’s tournament in Las Vegas. The date for next year’s tournament is yet to be determined due to the Rugby League World Cup.

The HUGE thanks really needs to go to each of the players who paid their own way to make the tournament happen. Not one cent of sponsorship was raised so it was all up to the players to make the effort. There was five or six different referees throughout the tournament who donated their time also. Next year we are hoping for sponsorship of course so look out 2013 Remembrance Cup! Along with the players there are five men that organised their teams and gained a couple of grey hairs. Vaha in particular went over and above to make this tournament happen on the ground in Vegas.
Vaha Esikia - Las Vegas Warriors
Toby Foster - Coogee Dolphins
Paul O'Keefe - British Columbia Bulldogs
Aaron Thompson - Utah Avalanche
Zane Hirtzel - California Condors
We are hoping for a lot more American and Canadian teams around the country to make a commitment for the 2013 Remembrance Cup, the invitation is open!

What a bunch of Bitches. A good event was held and barely two pages in to the thread there are four trolling posts out of 17, prior to this one. Incase your not good with numbers that's just about 25% of the posts are or could be classed as trolling.
How about a personal message to someone about partisan orginisations, rather than trying to derail ANOTHER topic.
