We're almost twelve hours into the apocalypse here. Seems suspiciously like a regular work day. Woke up tired, came to a classroom full of chatty Chinese kids, and will spend my afternoon packing for a trip. Might order Indian and create a mini apocalypse in the bathroom.

The specific time being thrown around is the winter solstice, is it not? Something that has been attached to this stupidity in much the same way as every minor natural event of interest has.

I watched a nineteen minute clip last night linking animal migrations, a shark feeding frenzy off QLD, storms, strange weather, and 'a mystery light' to the apocalypse.

If there are mass suicides today, the collective IQ of the world should jump up a few points.

That's nice. I always wanted to visit Shanghai.

It's a fun city to visit as an expat, but there's not much to see there as a tourist. Lots of great restaurants and bars for those of us making do with McDonalds and cruddy bar food on the regular though :lol:

I'm not much of a clubber, but I hear they're good. I'm more of a pubs and restaurants kind of guy. Thinking of Shanghai for three days over the New Year, actually.
