I had heard we've been trying to off load him for a while just because he's so bloody expensive. I like him when he's firing, but my biggest annoyance will be if his brothers follow him.

I for one agree, I am sick of this constant speculation, if he doesn't want to be there I say see you later MJ.

We can cover his loss easily this year, he is good player but it seems very rarely for us lately.

Could be this is all part of getting J Thurston to the club next year, will cost a million but would be the best signing since Petero amd as influential as when Chris Mortimer came to the club, hopefully it happens.

So I say if you wnt to go Mick see you later, thanks for the good games you played for us and good luck.

Doesn't surprise me that he's trying to escape Gould's massive ego. Gould is very good at projecting his worst traits onto other people. As a pundit he tried to ruin Hayne a few years ago by starting the now much-repeated attacks about his bad attitude. It was especially undeniable that it was a personal vendetta when he wouldn't shut up about Haynes love tap on Payne.

I really believe that Gould just picks people out that he doesn't like for one reason or another, then invents attitude problems that don't really exist. He seems to be a constant source of conflict and bullshit, and, even if Jennings goes, I doubt we'll be waiting long until he's clashing with other players over their so-called bad attitude.

Jennings will be better off leaving, sooner rather than later.

If this is the case Gould is an idiot. They are wasting 650k on a centre that is still relatively young but should be on more like 400k. But they are going to try and get Thurston for 750k or more at the age of 31. Very Smart Gus.

i highly doubt both brothers will leave regardless of if michael is going.The reality are all 3 are backs and the void michael leaving would help next in line george along faster to first grade

From my understanding the Thurston thing is more of a future investment as he will stay on in a coaching capacity after he retires.

Also this may be less of a Jennings wanting to leave thing and more of a we are sick of paying so much money for him thing. Not necessarily a move on bad terms, maybe. Jennings may have been the one asked to take a pay cut a few months back. Whatever happens I say best of luck to him, he can be a weapon player.
