Hahahahahaha.

You bastard!

I fell big time for that one...

You sounded very convincing, should work for the telecrap mate...:D

Haha sorry mate! I thought they took it quite well in JA, they can get very emotional in there when it comes to rumours lol

Bellamy needs a new challenge to cement his legacy as a great coach. If he stays at Melbourne he will always be remembered for the scandalous past.

good point - i think the challenge to win a comp with another team could be the deciding factor for Bellamy... especially since his mentor Bennett achieved this feat..
either way at the storm or dragons he will be very well paid, so its not all about the money..

Storm is a very safe option for Bellamy with the Big 3 plus players like Widdup, Chambers they'll win games this year with no coaching IMO. Bellamy failed in origin, would be a massive challenge to do things without the safety of the games greatest players in the one team.

Let's hope he thinks the same!

A bit of the "anything you can do I can do better..."

So Bellamy would have to come here and win us 2 premierships... If he's good enough lets see him give it a go...

Bellamy is a successfull coach,no doubt. He has coached a premiership and at least one future immortal.I don't read into the origin side of his coaching.
It all depends on whether he actually wants a new challenge at the Dragons or is content to continue his work down there as you would think the Storm will get close to the $$ the Dragons are offering.

The longer this goes on, the better for us. I reckon and I have said it before on this site, if he was staying in Melbourne, why the hell hasn't he let them know by now. He is probably lining up a halfback recruit to come with him. This takes time!!!!

Just got an SMS from my mate who was watching Fox Sports News. He reckons Billy Slater didn't sound too confident when interviewed just now.

Maybe it really is still up in the air?

Could just as easily be the opposite. The consortium hoping to buy the Storm are only keen on the deal if Bellyache is the coach. Negotiations & the ins and outs between them, News Ltd. Fordham, & Storm management would take some time as well. Or would they?
This could still all be timed for the WCC as previously mentioned. And once again after posting all that I feel as if I'm back at square one again

That's because he has a voice like he has his balls in a vice.

I suspect he will get a part ownership in the storm as part of the deal. I suspect Fordham is just trying to negotiate how much.

That would make a lot of sense to if true.

He has something move into after coaching and what better way then to buy into the club that he has helped for so long.

Take this however you like but my source (sponsor) tells me Bruce Gordon WIN (billionaire and 25% owner) of the football club is starting to enter into all of this, it's a personal thing he has against News Ltd....he wants Bellamy at St George Illawarra and will assist in pulling all stops to get him to the Dragons.
