How is it karma that a person is suffering with what he is?

I knew you were a sad excuse of a human though that further proves it.

My only concern is for Benny Barba's health. Hopefully he sorts his sh1t out with his misses gets his kids back and his life will settle down again.

I've no doubt he will return after a month or two. I also have no doubt when he does he will be a better person and player.

If the best you have to do is hope we lose our best player, I feel sorry for your team and club. Also shows how much you fear our club :lol::lol::lol:

So a few days ago Manly were going to have to shed players to fit in Stewart, but now they can resign him, plus signing an extra player from the Roosters? It's a shame the salary cap isn't more transparent.

Why is Hooper the only one to report this, he says effective immediately when he tweeted over 20 hours ago & then I see the morning news on CH9 that Tommy is training with the FG squad, looking very happy, high 5'ing SBW, apparently it was happening, but whatever has happened with Stewart's contract has prevented Tommy from going to Manly IMO! (I'm just guessing but I think Hooper is too!).

It was a beat up. The NRL are trying to control what portion of a players contract comes from the base cap and what part comes from 3rd party or marquee signings. And they can't. So Stewart and $BW got registered.

Even though no one is giving it to you. I'm sure a lot of fans in here are quietly laughing to themselves because it came back around on you when you thought your club was invincible. Like I said a long time ago mate anything can happen in rugby league but you just thought I was clutching at straws. I was just stating a fact that has been proven to be true over the years. You can't predict what's going to happen but something does happen that can change the fortune of a club/player. Salary cap breaches, drug scandals, gambling, domestic violence. The list goes on.

I wish Barba all the best to recover and gets the proper help he needs because he seems like a nice guy and damn good to watch

Re-signed for 3 years for UNDER 1 mil a year.

So much for his 400k+ price tag per year.

I'm guessing you missed the posts of several muppets.

Claiming he was demanding 400k a year and that clubs were interested at that.

I said there is no way he would get that without being tested.

It turns out again I'm right and the bloke who knows nothing about football is wrong. Again.

In 2014 he will be on somewhere around 300k a year and under the cap in 2014 that is a fair increase for a kid who hasn't played NRL first grade yet. Though for his ability, size, motor and desire to play for the Club he is worth every cent in my opinion. Not to mention the fact he is heavily hunted.

I'm confident that at that price he will be a great asset. I'm glad Des made the call and beat Wayne and a lot of other clubs to secure him. It's what I said all along.
