I think the mention of warfarin is nothing more than a mention of the fact that Dank was giving players meds that were not endorsed by the club. The article doesn't suggest it is illegal (but it also does not clarify that it is not so it will generate hype amongst readers as it has here).

[/I][/B]You are living with false hope, if that is what you believe.

it may be false hope but its hope dammit :fist:

whilst i'm not naive to think the sport i love doesnt have players who would try and cheat i'd hate to think that larger numbers of players or clubs were doing it

You can't get Warfarin over the counter like a headache pill.

No, but that doesn't make it illegal. It simply highlights the fact that Dank was giving meds that were not approved by the club.

The point is, how did he get this, did he have a blood clot and his doc gave it too him? Did he then use it for some other means?

That's illegal.

Looks like some dominoes might be falling in the shire - emergency board meeting called for 6pm.

I really hope this comes to nothing

We're talking about illegal in the sporting sense. ASADA couldn't care less if someone is taking someone else's prescription meds, they only care if they are taking drugs that contravene the sport's guidelines.
