St George Illawarra Dragons second-rower Matt Prior will make his milestone 100th appearance for the Club when he takes to the field against the Canberra Raiders at Canberra Stadium on Sunday.
The Thirroul Butchers junior made his first-grade debut for the Dragons in round five of the 2008 season against the North Queensland Cowboys at WIN Stadium, Wollongong after starting his career within the Club’s junior ranks.
“I’m very excited about reaching this milestone and I’m thankful for being given the opportunities over the years to reach it,” said Prior.
“The entire team have been training hard in preparation for the travel down to Canberra and I’m looking forward to taking to the field.
“I’ll just keep taking it one game at a time and hopefully there will be many more celebrations to come.”

Steven Price is truly stuck between a rock and a hard place. Both Fien and Drinkwater have been extremely poor. Recruitment really should have done more to recruit an alternate half back.

Price and co could have been more proactive earlier last year when Benny Hornby was going downhill which was quite early on in the season. Instead he got his pants pulled down when Hornby pulled the pin with two weeks left in the comp and there was no one left.

What happened with the chase for Mortimer? He did have a good season at the Eels. Was he asking for to much or somthing? Better still Rangi Chase was a great option? Surely he would have been a handy pickup in the halves and would have slot straight in?

If I was Saints I would throw everything I can at Sam Williams. surely they can tempt him with a guarantee spot in FG in his preferred position.

Even Albert Kelly with all his baggage should have been considered. I mentioned on the other forum we should look at signing Beau Henry immediately. Worked well with Price in the toyota cup is a genuine half back and is currently surplus to requirements with Sezer and Kelly forming the titans halves.

Exactly...its not as if they didn't know Hornby was towards the end of his career.

P.S Maybe signing Rangi chase was not such a bad idea.

P.P.S I also can't believe we chose the same team...How about Vai Vai to centre... Anyway if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it..Price must be happy we are playing Dragons Footy.

Going to be plenty of people around here with their pants down Sunday.
All our losses in the last two seasons are purely due to playing under fatigue intentionally.
If we execute our structures and processes we will win.
