After the raiders and dragons game I've come to a conclusion that it isn't the players fault it's clearly the coaches fault out halves played well soward opened up holes as well as fien they both set up try's, it's the coach!

Soward was very disappointing in defence. On that display should be lucky to be in the state cup team.

hmm but still, we have over 10 players who were involved in our 2010, 2011 legacy you take away the mastercoach bennett and look what happens last yr we managed to scrape 9th this yr we are looking towards the woodenspoon, its simple it is the coach, put a player here put a player there its not going to do anything unless price is gone, he isnt involving players such as soward as they use to be involved hes taking away players ability to try and come up with differrent plays witch clearly are not working but after each loss he says 'ill be playing the exact team next week and we will continue to work on the same thing..EXECUTION' HE HIMSELF STEVE PRICE is doing something wrong and watever it is it hasn't been fixed at all we were lucky to finish 9th last yr. theres my rage

Price needs to learn something and that is give the young guys a go, some grow an arm and a leg when given the chance, some don't he has to give them a chance and find out, the modern game is too fast to play veterans on their last legs, they might do alright but they are no longer matchwinners of 3-4 years ago. Other than that I actually feel sorry for the guy, talk about being under the pump.

Everything starts with defense!
Other teams are making too much ground against us in each set and then we are always working our way out of trouble deep in our half.
Its one of the reasons we can't attack their line because we are too far out.
Opposition forwards are always getting through or bending our line back and we are then always back-pedalling.
This attitude in defense starts with the coach and our players obviously don't respect him enough to have a decent dig!

Flame i have to agree with you Fien had a real go, he has copped a roasting round these parts but his commitment and desire to win can never be questioned. I also posted earlier in the week that Beale has been disappointing i know many people on here keep saying he will improve but i personally don't think his ability will get too much better than it already is.

Sheens is available. Should be hired immediately. Then he can drop cooper. I also must say creagh has been incredibly disappointing. Offering precious little as captain or a player. Merrin, Morris, nightingale, rein, frizzel, ah mau. Only players playing well.

Soward was appalling out there. His defence was atrocious. He got bumped off at least 50% of the time and they just plowed through him when he actually did make a tackle. Creagh is a pussy and should not be captain. I thought Cooper was awesome. Merrin was superb. Nighty was terrible in the centres. He is a winger. Another bad call by the coach. I think the guys played well, without luck, and got hit by the hoodoo again. But you stick a Cooper Cronk in this team and we make the 8. They try their arses off. I enjoyed the game. I'd like to see the end of Price. He'll probably be a good coach eventually but not now, with this team.

Can i remind everyone of our 2005 NRL season 1 win by round 6...finished equal 1st and near grand final appearance. Or our 2002 season 2 wins by ROUND 10! finishing 7th. May I also add that 10/17 of our current squad were a part of our 2010 Premiership winning season.

Now im not saying by any stretch that we will emulate such a season, but at the same time we are all looking to throw the core of our already failing attack out for a bunch of rookies. If fien and soward cant make Prices "system" work then there is no way any amount of new players will. Stick with the team but change the approach. If Price cant draw up a new gameplan by round 5 he's gone and Folkes is in as interim coach for 2013

Sorry, but you're dreaming. The only reason we didn't win in 05 was because brown was still 'one of da boiz'. On paper, we had an exceptional team, who could score points for fun. For this team, scoring and average of >20 points would be like climbing mt.everest!
