John Cena vs. Ryback - WWE Championship Match
Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H - Steel Cage Match

Are likely additions.

This PPV tends to be one of the better shows the WWE puts on so I'll be interested to see whether they can live up to it this year. It certainly seems like a step down from last year already since Daniel Bryan and CM Punk likely won't be involved in some main event style match and Brock is being wasted once again on Triple H to get his win back in a scenario that should never have happened.

I suppose the Smackdown Orton, Show, Sheamus, Henry storyline will divulge into a match.

Shield may take on Hell No in a tag match which should be nifty.

Then we'll get some IC and US match thrown together that nobody cares about.

How much are the WWE paying Brock only to have HHH work three consecutive matches with him.

This isn't Ali/Frazer, nobody gives a shit.

The HHH/Brock match adds a lot more to this card than it did the mania card IMO. At least in this case the result is uncertain (Brock should win) and it adds star power with the likes of the rock and Punk being off the card

Brock ought to win. Then he can move onto feuds that actually benefit the company long term. Have him destroy all comers and build to a Punk confrontation when he's fit again.

Dolph and Cena to retain, with Dolph to move on to feuding with Del Rio alone while Cena continues to feud with Ryback for the standard 1-2 more PPVs.

Give the Rollins/Reigns combo the tag gold and get Ambrose into a position to go after a secondary title. Could that be why they put gold on Kofi? He plays the face in peril well.

I'd play it up where Ryback has Cena absolute killed and Cena has to get in a desperate roll up to retain yet is stretchered out to close the show.

Next month, build to a Last Man Standing match.

Ripped straight from Umaga/Cena but if it's half as good it'd be worth it.

If Ryback doesn't beat Cena isn't he finished as a potential draw? They've beat him too much, he needs the win now or he'll look like a bitch.

On the other hand, they've just spent over a year telling this story about Cena's redemption and his championship victory.

Would be anti-climatic to have him lose on his first defence.

I wasn't suggest Ryback needs to go over, just the fact they've booked themselves into another corner.

I hate Ryback, hopefully he jobs to Cena, fizzles out and goes away. But is that good business?

I believe they already got their value out of Ryback when they used him to build up Punk and The Shield.

Moving forward, I just hope the WWE develops The Shield and gives each member a direction possibly culminating with Cena putting Ambrose over at SummerSlam.

Then the IWC will blow their loads until Fandango beats him clean on Raw to set up a triple threat at the always crappy post-Summer Slam PPV.

The concussion suffered by Ziggler really does kill my interest in that half of the main event. Swagger/Del Rio wasn't interesting when it was the main feud, and it certainly isn't interesting now that it's an I Quit match for a shot at Ziggler's title (that they both already had earned shots at).

I'll only be watching for the Shield stuff and a passing interest in Lesnar/HHH.

Overall, I expect it to be a solid show but notone that appeals to me. The angles haven't been engaging and even if you put Punk/Bryan 2/3 falls match, I'd never pay just to watch 'good pro wrestling'.

Really good start with Ambrose and Jericho picking up wins. The codebreaker out of nowhere on Fandango was awesome.

Cena has an Achilles injury, which is the feature of the Last man standing match, and runs to the ring. Great selling John!

Sounds like a pretty bleh show over all although for the most part, I liked the direction the company went with everything.

Nay, I really liked the show. Lesnar is a genius at selling an injury, they threw me with the ending of Ryback and Cena, and both Shield matches were really enjoyable. Mark Henry going down injured is the only blackspot of the night imo, even though he toughed it out for a bit. Even Orton and Big Show was entertaining, massive pop for the punt.

I'd give it a B+, only because the leadup sucked.

Rat-shit booking in a few of those matches. The Cena/Ryback finish was infuriatingly shit booking. Does Vince really believe that John Cena can't afford a loss?

The Del Rio/Swagger match was mind-bogglingly shit as well. Vince Russo and Dusty Rhodes must have been balls deep in one another watching that abortion unfold.

Lesnar looked like a bitch against Triple H - the master of 'putting a guy over' without actually putting him over in any meaningful way.

At least the Shield got the wins they deserved.
