soward has a very good kicking game but i think in terms of halfs, cronk, thurston and a. reynolds are all easily better than him. plus that kicking game is all soward has. gus still needs to get a ball player or two in that team to compensate heavilyfor sowward's deficiency in that area.

He has been linked to us in the past and Castleford have pretty serious financial issues.

The Dog's side on paper isn't that crash hot really. Just because our club is overpaying nuffies and filling our cap that way doesn't mean other clubs are cheating when really they just have better management than us.

Here we go again....they have a lot of players presently unsigned for 2014: Lafai, Keating, Tolman, Turner (retired), Palau, Low, Latu, Eastwood, Brown, Browne etc.

People seem to take snippets of 'signings for Year X' and 'losses for Year X-1' and go nuts. I'm with Eels Dude......you've got to look at their whole roster at a single point in time. It's not outrageously good.

It's a mile better than ours. In fact even accounting for the Eelflation with out signings, our forward pack would cost less than half of the Bulldogs. Tolman (knocking on the door of origin for a couple years), Ennis (NSW rep), Kasiano (kiwi int, just got a massive upgrade), T-Rex (lol), Pritchard (kiwi int, big money signing at the time), Eastwood (kiwi rep), Graham (GB int), Klemmer & Tupau both just signed pretty decent upgrades after being on rookie wages.

I'd suggest that our highest paid forward would be Mannah, and he'd rank about 6th in the pay scale of bulldog forwards.

Backs are a bit cheaper, but they still have Barba, Morris and now Reynolds that would be on good coin, inu and Perrett are far from basic wage (regardless of how much the rooters and warriors are subsidizing).

I think that side looks alright on paper, and wouldn't come cheap.

Ennis - 400k
T Rex - 650k
Morris - 400k
Klemmer - 330k and a rookie to boot
Reynolds - you'd think at least 400k plus
Barba - You's think over 400k easy
Prichard - 400k plus
Kasiano - 300k plus
inu and Perrett are internationals not sure the coin.

Add in upgrades for Jackson who i rate very highly and Fuicanne (spelling)

And that side roster shit all over ours from a great height which is not hard and with the rumours Falonk is signed sealed and delivered and you have to wonder.....
