And they would have told the Sharks that. I'm not saying the Sharks did leak anything but I'm not going to assume it was ASADA

Unless it was advised that the decision not to continue interviews was confidential, who cares.

It would become blatantly obvious anyway.

Mind you it is also obvious the telegraph knew and that's why they put it all out there. The info will not prejudice the interview process.

Now the NRL and ASADA will decide if they can compliment that report with more facts or just issue infraction noticed to those players named. Do it I say.

Lets get this over with.

HE drugs in sport investigation has taken a dramatic twist with ASADA terminating all future interviews with players. Cronulla Sharks officials learned of the shock development yesterday through their lawyers.
The decision by ASADA to declare players will no longer be required for interview has brought the investigation to a stunning halt, with players and officials in the dark as to what ASADA's motive is.
However, it's understood the tactic is in direct response to the belief that the players will refuse to share information about their team mates by providing information during the interview process.
A source close to the Cronulla legal team accused ASADA of "making the rules up as they go."
It's believed that by cancelling any further interviews that ASADA will now rely on the information they already have in order for the NRL to issue a breach notice against any player or official.

If the DT is right and they are going to go with the ARLC with what other evidence they already have, it will be interesting to see if any infraction notices will be issued because they can't use anything the ACC gathered. This could all be over for the Sharks by the end of the month one way or the other

If they break the injunction they should be jailed for contempt you'd hope. But this sounds like they've been leaked the Kavanagh report and I thought the injunction was about the risk assessment? Anyway the articles seemed to paint Cronulla in a positive light given Dank only lasted a couple of months and wasn't following instructions.

Anyway it would be bizarre if asada canned the interviews because the players are receiving legal advice. I would have thought that was their right and as Roy pointed out they are cooperateing with the investigation by turning up. It seems the AFL players have been told they can get no sanction if they provide full assistance which you'd hope asada wouldn't go along with.

Riccio said on Triple M that he suspects this is ploy by ASADA to get players to roll over on others

he said they apparently suspected Wade Graham would do that in the interview and he didn't

who knows what the truth is

'Riccio said on Triple M that he suspects this is ploy by ASADA to get players to roll over on others'

This is also known as entrapment.

ASADA are a bunch of rank amateurs.

As I have previously said, it's incredible how CrazyTiger was so anti-authority until it was a case of authority v the NRL. He's nothing but a troll and should be arseholed ASAP.
