Dragons v Eels

Personally, I can't bare to replay the last 2/3 weeks in my mind any longer. Just too frustrating. I'd rather put my thoughts forward to next week as we begin a new pursuit: Operation Restore Dignity.

Again I'd love to see Price experiment with half back as I don't see what is to lose but it seems he is a bit stubborn in that regard so:

My team vs the Eels

1. Dugan
2. Quinlan
3. Prior
4. Cooper
5. Nightingale (CCC - Captain, Coach, CEO)
6. Soward
7. Fien
8. Weyman
9. Rein
10. Hunt
11. Frizell
12. Creagh
13. Merrin

14. Vidot/ Harrison (whoever trains best)
15. Stockwell
16. King
17. de Belin

Can't wait to see Dugan in the red v. We have busted our backsides in the last 2 games but that genuine star to get us home has not been present. Dugan is that star i'm pumped. Quinlan deserves another run and Chase may need a break.Prior was solid and it was great to see Cam King back

We definitely need changes. Personally I feel price has nothing to lose. Already a massively uphill battle to make finals... So why not make changes. I like Soward. I really do. But the dynamic seems to be off with his team mates. Something ain't right. But with that said I am not sure price will make any changes.

Agree Quinlan should be in the team. So... Perhaps Dugan can play centre??? Or Quinlan centre?? I believe we would be better off than having Stanley. Issue is, Stanley is a favorite of price and I can't see him dropping him.

Bloody hell, I dunno!!! But I would stop Stanley, de belin (needs to learn the game more).

not sure what you mean by this - experiment with halves but still chose the same run on halves and none on the bench??

I'd like to see quinlan go into the halves. He'd have the confidence but I am resigned to the fact that Price has Fien locked into 7. So i guess its not purely the team I want but a compromise

If I had it my way...

6. Soward
7. Quinlan

Not ideal but Stanley doesn't deserve another week and Green is meh. Maybe Vaivai.

Prior has been good this year admittedly not at centre but he's played there plenty times before.

Your right Stanley doesn't deserve another week and I think prior has been going well this year but we can't make the same mistake twice.

Prior back off the bench and it is time to blood runciman

Right Centre: Chase isnt killing it but hes not useless either, im not sure what other Right Centre you guys have in mind? Green is the only one and I srsly dont rate him, certainly not going to do a better job than Chase.

Left Centre: Cooper is obviously the man, but while Morris was injured, I support Prior because defensively hes a lot better than any other option and yes we miss out on some attacking options, but SFA quality ball gets out there anyway, the net benefit is there.. if Morris is back on his wing id support Vaivai getting a run or maaaybe Runciman (but hes just a kid), but Cooper will be back before Morris is anyway, I wouldnt support 2 newbies on the edge.

No argument from me. The more youth the better but if last year is anything to go by we won't see it. We can only dream mate.

Seriously Soward just folded his shorts ready for next week! Didn't even have to spray them with preen!

My thoughts exactly. Or even
6. Quinlan
7. Soward

the kid has a great running game and has 5/8 written all over him

We are the most frustrating team in the comp. we have no idea, no direction, no game plan or set plays. It feels like each time they play and are in the opposition territory its let hope for the best and see what happens. It's time for price to grow some balls and start dropping players that are not performing, giving the younger guys are chance and to play players in there positions. In my view the players have no idea what there doing.
I will like to see this lineup against the eels.
1.dugan

Our forwards need a real rev up, they are soft...our team has the most metres gained against them in the comp. Creagh, Hunt & Harrison should all be put on notice.

I don't think it would be fair on Prior to play him in the centres. He copped so much shit on here last year, because pricey kept playing him out of position as a "Mr fix it". Prior has regained his form from a couple of seasons ago with the stability of being a part of the prop rotation, so I say leave him there.
I'd much rather see Runciman or Vai Vai in at centre, than Prior getting shafted all over the place again.

Harsh on our forwards - they dominated the Titans more highly rated pack...our problem is in the halves closely followed by centres.

Taking into account Prices' total inflexibility in the halves. For what it's worth:

1. Dugan
2. Vidot
3. Quinlan
4. Cooper
5. Nightingale
6. Soward
7. Fien
8. Weyman
9. King
10. Stockwell
11. Creagh
12. Frizell
13. Merrin

14. Hunt
15. De Belin
16. Rein
17. Mathews/Harrison
