That's 9 cups in what? 100 years? (I've got no idea how long you guys have been around for, i'm just guessing).

108

Who knows where you'd be if Abromovic hadn't brought you. Newcastle finished above you the year before he arrived and since then they've been relegated once.

Who knows where Arsenal might have been if they'd replaced Wenger

If your auntie had balls she's be your uncle...

f**k knows why you guys are so chuffed with the Europa league. Any trophy you can win by getting knocked out of another competition isn't worth shit

Oh, I don't know. A European cup is a European cup

Mong seemed pretty proud of whatever trophy his team had to get relegated in order to win...

Close!

Wenger's made mistakes but there aren't many around who could do what he does on the budget he's given. You guys spent close to a 100mil before this season and we could still finish above you.

Oh, I don't know. A European cup is a European cup

Do you hope you make it out of your CL group next season or would you rather another run at the EL?

Entirely different situations.

Alisher Burkhanovich Usmanov (Uzbek: Alisher Usmonov, Алишер Бурханович Усмонов) (born 9 September 1953) is an Uzbek-born Russian business magnate. According to the 2011 edition of Forbes magazine, the oligarch Usmanov is Russia's richest man, with a fortune estimated at $18.1 billion, and the world's 28th richest person.[1] According to the December 2012 Bloomberg Billionaires Index, he has an estimated net worth of $17.3 billion, making him the 39th richest person in the world.[4] In April 2013, the Sunday Times listed him as the richest person in the UK, ousting Lakshmi Mittal for the number one spot.

Usmanov increased his Arsenal FC share beyond 29 percent in June 2011. Red and White Holdings announced on 20 June 2011 that it had more than 29-percent stake in Arsenal Holdings Plc.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alisher_Usmanov#cite_note-40

Until Usmanov puts a dollar into the club you're wasting your time even mentioning him.

Speak to Rafa about that

We were second when he took over

Do you hope you make it out of your CL group next season or would you rather another run at the EL?

We would much rather the CL knockouts, obviously

Are you suggesting that you would rather win nothing than the Europa League?

Entirely different situations.

Of course they are...

Exactly, i know hes a part owner, but he has spent nothing on the club so far.

In the time between chelsea Being born and being bought by The Mob, Arsenal won

11 First Division/Premier League Titles.
8 FA Cups
2 League Cups

Joe Lewis owns Puma and he is the major owner of Spurs, he's a billionaire but he has never put in a cent other than purchase shares.

Levy uses him to finance transfer deals but thats all. He aint exactly a sugar daddy.

our problem is our ground only seats 45K, so we dont get the revenue that other clubs do.

We've got a new academy and juniors are doing extremely well, so much so our U/21 won the plate and will soon play off in the final. We've got a few decent players but I dont see them as being more than squad players, no real standouts. We develop good kids then sell them and get our money back on the academy, I 'm pretty sure thats Levy's MO.

Our new stadium is under construction as its a huge development, as well as motels and shopping centres so Levy is certainly a visionary.

New stadium will seat around 65K and our extra revenue will allow us to pay wages equal to what the top 4 team pay alot of their players but we are a few years off that just yet.

What I find impressive is we should be a permanent fixture in the top 4 soon (we been there 2 out of the last 3 years) and we'll do it without a sugar daddy.

Of course not. But i'd rather come 4th than win Europa, and considering how thin our squad is there's no way we could have done both.

Spurs will probably miss out on CL this season because they put so much effort into the EL.

So it's Chelsea's fault that Arsenal and Spurs are tight?

It's not about being tight. It's about being responsible. We can't all afford to throw away 50mill at has beens like Torres.

It's not your fault but it's clubs like Arsenal and Spurs who have been fckd over most by clubs like Chelsea.

You wouldn't be in the Europa league if Everton, Spurs and Arsenal spent even half the amount you do.

Without Chelsea, Arsenal would have both Mata and Hazard, but mostly mata, we had him basically signed only for chelsea to add another 5.7mill to the fee and 30k more a week

Hazard would've gone to United or City.

Mata may have come to us but i get the feeling he was just using us till someone offered him more.

He's probably put more into Arsenal this month than he has in Spurs since he's owned them.

Big brother has been doing it for a while.

If this last game goes the way it should we will have officially made it through our belt tightening era without missing the champions league.

From this summer thanks to massive deals with Puma and Emirates we will have the finances to start spending 50 million a summer and pay wages over 100k. We won't have the silly money Londons 3rd team or Manchesters 2nd have but we'll finally be able to genuinely compete for good signings.

And while I obviously hate them and want them to finish below us I'd much rather United and Spurs with us in the top 4 than the plastics.

The ideal 2014 would be:

1. Arsenal
2. United
3. Spurs
4. Everton/Fulham
5/6. The plastics

lol, the plastics

The difference between your billionaires and our billionaires is that ours choose to invest the club and not take money out of it. Given Rusty's private investment in your NRL team, does that makes Souths a plastic club?

I can't talk for Chelsea but City's plans for the future are massive (and underway) at a youth & community level with a whole of club plan in mind. They're going to be completely regenerating East Manchester/Eastlands and within those developments tie it all in with the looming FFP.

I don't think there are plans at all in the long run to simply prop up the club by paying overs on marque signings year in year out, even now management are playing games in the market to extract the lowest prices.

Of course they, getting bounced out of the CL in the group stage TWICE meant they didn't get a lot of money they were counting on to make the books right

Poor Bayernsliga, they'll be left in the lurch once when the new EPL TV deal kicks in next season.

Hypocrite FC left to help bail out their nearest rivals once again

When your team hasn't won anything for 9 years, I can understand the need to blame other teams for your ineptness. Perhaps if you'd stayed at Highbury and didn't blo your $$ on the Emirates you'd still be relevant and Arshavin wouldn't be your top signing.
