I was at the game and didn't see any flares but did see the drink bottle thrown at Soward. Pretty ordinary but hardly at the level of things we have seen in the past.

If the worst that happens at our games these days is a plastic bottle being thrown then we have come a long way from where we were

Well there you go.

Ouwet, I'll have everything on the menu.

http://stgeorgeleagues.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/2011-Table-Menu_webpdf.pdf

Let's make a date.

He admitted a flare was lit... Ill have everything on the menu :)

Typical St Merge supporters... It was lit right in the middle of the St Merge army, it was lit by St Merge supporters! We have played at ANZ for over 10 years, in that time, how many flares have been lit? ZERO!!! St Merge supporters have a reputation for lighting them!

Umm if you honestly think our fans have not let flares off at ANZ then you haven't been to many games there. Thankfully it pretty much does not happen anymore but there have been plenty in the past that I have witnessed at our games

Because we are going to light a f**ken flare under our big jersey that we as a group funded (no club money) and cost us over $3k. That's smart ouwet. Come sit with the army one day when we play the dogs and see what we as a group have to put up with from your lot. Don't be blinded my your fans. Your lot come out of their way to give us shit. Come to Kogarah for a non dogs game and see how many dogs fans come in jerseys to stir shit.

It would be pretty dumb of us to light the flares in our own group.

I was there, I was RIGHT NEXT TO IT. I saw what happen. Pity while it was lit we all had to scramble to catch our breath and he got away.

That my friend is f**kEN FACT.

When has a flare been lit... don't talk from your ass... Come on? Against Brisbane in 2005? It wasn't a flare, it was a bunger!! In 2001 Final against St George on the hill at the show ground? WAIT hang on that was in the St George army hill.

"there have been plenty in the past" pfft name one!! I have been to pretty much every single Bulldogs home game since 1998 (Except for 6 games in 2006 when I was at the world cup and in 2011 5 games when I was on my honeymoon)... Goose.

Ok... Well if thats the case then it was a St George supporter who came in the Bulldogs army and throw a bottle at Soward... Throughout the whole night Soward was verbally abused big time from upset St George supporters, it was funny but also disgusting!!! I have never seen a player cop it from his own supporters like some St George supporters gave it to him last night!

Dude I live 5 minutes from Kogarah... All my mates are St George supporters, I know you guys have feral supporters like we do!! You sound like a 5 year old, But he did it:lol:

Habib, trust me when i say, we are not innocent either. We have some scum bag supporters also. Every club has them.

I had to have a discussion with the head of events and security from anz and have email conversations also with regards to bringing the big jersey and our banners in. Do you think we would risk having our banners and jersey banned by lighting a flare? Come on mate.

The last flare that was let off in our group was an unknown dragons fan in the final round of 2010 season against the rabbits at Kogarah. He didn't get off lightly.

Fair Enough Cammo, Although If nothing is done about it and its swept under the carpet, rest assured we will be lining up the Dogs Kicker next game, without the Threat of Fines or losing memberships and Bans,

So Boys Next game, all in.. We will see how they like it, and trust me they wont!

how about we just throw stuff at their fans instead? It will make them pull out their knives and brass knuckles in retaliation, leaving us with a moral high ground.....okay i'm completely kidding. The fact is though, after all theiir image rebuilding, they're still the league's worst fans.

so you're saying a dogs fan crept into the army and lit a flare? If true, typical. Outwet you are in complete denial. Bulldogs fans probably started the whole flare bull*** in the nrl. Plenty of them have been lit by your mob in the past at anz. Greenberg has done well at restoring your image. Let's see what happens when he leaves.

Unlike Ouwet I'll be the first to admit we still aren't perfect, but I would hope people have seen the vast improvement in behaviour over the last few years.

At least the club is doing all it can to stamp it out. Could you imagine what things would be like now if there were no life bans given out over the last 5 years to these idiot

And yes Ouwet we have had plenty of flares in the past at our games. As a season ticket holder I would have no reason to bag people out. 2004 finals series is a good case in point regarding flares, 4 people escorted out in one game over the lighting of them. It's just a fact and I don't see the point in getting all huffed up about it, especially considering how much better our crowds are these days from the past

i completely recognise the vast improvements your club has made, and greenberg has been shown to be a fantastic operator. Unfortunately, some of that mob still lingers around at your games sometimes

Typical. Reneging on the bet.

If you mean the Canterbury-Bankstown merger at the Seventh Day Adventist in Belmore, then yes. And therefore you lose the bet.

Otherwise, I have no idea what you're talking about. Even your own fellow supporters are saying you're full of crap.

Where's my Yum Cha?

Haha. It's hilarious watching you fighting with other Canterbury supporters over this. You're getting owned on so many levels.

People around the area saw a Dragon supporter getting escorted out of the stadium! The excuse, why would a St George supporter light a flare near the big jersey and all the banners is the most geniused thing I've ever heard, your supporters have done it so many times before!!!

Re: The Fringe Minority - Get Rid of Them
the person who lit the flair had a dragons jersey on, as security near our bay escorted him out...unless he wears jerseys for fun.

BTW for your sack I hope drinks weren't included in the bet :)... Blue Label on the rocks!!!:D
