How many weeks for Gallen?

Lol. Gallen punches like a little girl and you know it. Myles had no idea what hit him because nothing hit him. Seriously he wasn't even fazed. A 10 punch combo means nothing when each punch has the force of a wet fart.

A 10 punch combo means the guy you're fighting is better than you. You sound like a punching bag mate.

Hitting someone with punches they don't see hurts, it doesn't matter how hard they're thrown. It's the same principle as getting blindsided by a tackle, we all know that hurts.

Gallen would have savaged Myles if nobody was there to intervene and I think everybody but you knows it.

Lmao one on one Gallen would murder him. Nsw tougher, more heart and just better in general.
Well yeah you'd have to expect them to have more heart, after collectively getting their arse handed to them 7 years in a row, lets see how it goes next game shall we?

6 weeks for having such a soft punch that a one two clean on the chin barely rocked Myles.

Good to see the NRL has decided that punching someone in the face is no longer a send off offence. Bring it on!!!

To answer my own question - no Gallen doesn't have a record.

He's fronted the judiciary in the past but been found not guilty on multiple occasions.

Don't know how, he's always doing something daft.

By my count he's initiated 3 fights in STate of Origin over the course of his career.... that I can remember.

How many weeks did Tate get again?? Yeah that's right. Piss off and cry into your Fourex ya nuffies :)

Ahhh yes, because an out of form centre is totally comparable to a in form forward who also happens to be the Captain.

Get off the sybian and find a real toy to f**k yourself with.

He has been charged with a grade 2 striking charge. 1 week if he pleads guilty and 2 weeks if he fights it and loses. Courtesy of fox sports news.

I'm not a Sharks fan but how come they pay the penalty for Gallen being a grub in an origin game?

So swinging an arm in and then punching someone without provocation is worth just a week? Nice one, settle back and lets watch the biff return to RL! I know if I was a bench forward I'd be licking my lips.

Few points, I think Myles was playing for the sin bin & I'm surprised Gallen didn't do 10 in the bin for it. Let's face it, this isn't origin as it was and it will never be the same again, the ref's have watered down the fighting spectacle of the game.

i'm embarrassed as a QLDer that there was no square up, if Gallen's allowed to put 3 on Myles without him retaliating & not go to the bin than im expecting QLD to come out and bash some NSW players for the same result. But honestly, they won the game & the fight. QLD were intimidated so kudos to Gallen for having the balls to do what he did, QLD are the ones at fault for not giving it back to them IMO.

My criticism of Meninga & the coaching staff would be over the years since 2006 alot of the aggression & mongrel has been coached out of the side. Compared to Bird, Gallen & Watmough we look like schoolboys.

yep I thought Q'land lacked any real enforcer or mongrel in the pack. Straight after that punch Hayne got the ball on the last tackle stood in his ingoal area whilst the clock wound down and Q'land just looked at hom, somebody should have absolutely smashed him. Kind of summed up the soft Q'land underbelly I thought, they need to find some fire for game 2.

How is it not comparable? And what about Inglis grabbing and squeezing players throats every tackle? You dont see you grubby side do you?

Being replaced 4 minutes into the 2nd half tells me he was fazed.

By the letter of the law, both should have had at least 10 in the bin, but don't dare for a second think that the absence of one would make the same impact as the other.

Last year and tonight have set a very clear precedent that when it comes to Origin and rules, all bets are off, so maybe the refs should be consistent abou....

Oh, consistency, right.
