I have given up watching the NRL this season outside of our own games. The standard of refereeing in the past two seasons has been abysmal. Anderson was brought in to correct what Raper and Harrigam were doing but it had gone backwards.

Teams are refereed based on their position on the ladder or to appease the home fans. That isn't just a Parramatta thing. It's an NRL wide thing. Too many rules, too many times are they being changed in the middle of a season and it is all based around individual interpretation.

The referee meetings must be held one on one rather than as a group because no two games are refereed the same way.

Don't bother any more. The home refereeing is probably the biggest factor.

I watch our teams games religiously but this year has been the one year I havnt been watching every game. I try to and see a stupid penalty and give up. Ill watch the odd souths game with my dad but other than that its become boring for me

Pou Pou will probably say it isn't a big enough sample size but I'd be keen for yourself (or anyone who agrees that different refs cause different results) to be put to the test.

I certainly think that whenever DA has an opportunity to professionally kick the eels in the guts...he will and does.
It is pretty easy for the refs boss to say to the 2 refs prior to kick off.."Any 50/50 calls go to the opposing team OK boys?".

Oh please you are kidding yourself. He says that to a referee and down the track somewhere that ref becomes disgruntled at his boss, you don't think he might not leak it to the media or even come out openly? You don't think theres a chance that at least some of the refs have some sort of morals and report what he has been told to someone at the nrl?
