Hopefully we can sign a young guy from another club who is ready to explode onto the scene! Much like the Cowgirls with T Sims or the Goosters with JWH!
Or us with josh Papalii?

Can't see why we would. I know we've got a crap squad, but that crap squad was managing to take up the whole cap in 2011 and 2012. And once you start heavily back-ending deals it becomes self-perpetuating....when you try to sign a new player you've got to back end their contract, because you are just starting to eat the $$$ from earlier back-ended deals.

The signings happening is what will make this a clean out, and not simply a self serving fingerpointing exercise.
The 4 were signed months ago. They shouldn't effect the 12 going with regards to money in our cap
We just announced that 12 or more are going
I'm expecting anything up to 6 signings hopefully of first grade quality.

That's omitting Moimoi, Paulo, Tanginoa and Pritchard, and only leaves four spots. If you're expecting six more first graders, I hope two of them are happy playing for Wenty.
Yeh, but when we signed the 4 players, we did so in the knowledge that we had at least 8 players of uncertain future out of contract at the end of 2013. (EDIT: in fact, it's probably not unreasonable to expect that the total salaries of the 4 new players are equal to or greater than the total salaries of the 8 current players out of contract at end of 2013).
I genuinely hope you're right, but unless the Maitua / B. Smith cases (who are contracted for 2014) actually do give up their rights, I can't see how we could possibly bring in 6 first graders.
Unless of course we pick up some better first grade options than the ones we currently have. That way those players will be at Wenty, where they quite possibly belong.

Are the rumours right that Weller Hauraki, Kris Keating, and Todd Lowrie are three of the six first graders to be announced soon as signings???

There are some quality players off contract from other clubs.
We need to be patient

Sio, Allgood and/or Mossop will be at Wenty and still not sure Sandow will be here.

Yep Fui has been fantastic for us but his play the balls are just about the slowest in the comp these daysAs Fui ages he is developing some critical weaknesses in his game and as such I expect him to be behind both Allgood and Mossop next year.
Fui still makes decent metres because he is quick (i.e. he gets to the line quickly) but as soon as he makes contact with the opposition he is dominated. Whichever poor merkin runs the ball after Fui is invariably running at a set defensive line.
