From what I know, BS did not get rid of Crusher, The CEO had a dispute over expenses with the big man and one thing led to another. The CEO annointed his mate , Rocket, and we all know how that played out.

BS did an enormous amount of work with identification of juniors, Crusher was his confirmation and talk to the parents person to close the deals.
