Honestly though, when you look how this team has come on leaps and bounds, you'd have to wonder why canberra would want him at all.

This is the million dollar question. Delivered another spoon for the eels, couldn't win the origin series from his last two goes and didn't leave the sharks or roosters in good shape (though he did well in the beginning of each of his tenures at those clubs).
