I think Tonga look the strongest outside the big 3 but their pool makes it almost impossible to progress to the semi finals. It's a toss up as to who gets the 2nd and 3rd places in Pool B.

We are going to get our usual knockers in the media but I think there has been more positive endorsements this time around. I have heard the rlwc referenced many times, from Andrew johns asking sbw if he'll be involved, to Graeme Hughes on talkin sport (2sm) talking it up, and numerous channel 7 presenters talking the tournament up. I don't think we are ever going to win over the Peter fitzsimmons and stephen jones' of the world who will take pot shots at the tournament, it's called fear.

My prediction is aus v eng final in front if 75000 at old Trafford. I think png and France will be massive surprise packets and push one of the big 3. I don't think we will see any major upsets until the 2017 rlwc.

I would love to see an Australia vs New Zealand semi at Wembley.

Aus v NZ and Eng v Fiji/Ireland/PNG/France looks way better than the usual Eng v NZ and Aus v whoever.

Would also love to see Scotland and Ireland make the quarters. It's a shame Scotland and Tonga are in the same group because with the squads they could have they are looking really good.

Beating England in a semi final is probably tougher for us than beating Australia in the final. If we face Aus in the final I'd be the most confident I've ever been going into a Test match against them. And from a spectacle it'll be better if we make the final because no one wants to see England compete for 60 minutes and then end up leaking 40 points in the last 20 We are on track to field our strongest side of the last 15 years at least so cancel the NRL finals I say
