Not sure why people think Cordner should be picked. He played 1 game in like the last 2 months of the year. Maybe if he had been fully fit i could see them going with an inexperienced player but not with how little football his played in the back end of the year.

Because even though he isn't experienced he deserves to be picked over the likes of Thaiday and Bird who haven't done anything except for Thaiday's purple patch in two games of Origin and when Bird played a couple solid games through the year, where Cordner played very well constantly throughout the year until he got injured. I would have him on the bench though, wouldn't start him. The game against England especially with their pack would suit him as well.

That's a surprise considering it's been a leading story on the BBC website for the last month and has had extensive coverage in mainstream media the likes of which I've never seen before. On Tuesday alone I saw/heard 6 separate mentions of the tournament in various media during the day without having to look for them, this in a non-heartland area. Usually lucky to get one a year at most. RL even made the cover of London's 'Sport' magazine which has never happened. Maybe the people in your office just live in a cave.

lol, not one person in your office must have any clue about RL then. I'm in Cardiff now and it's everywhere. Sinfield was on the cover of sport magazine. There's plenty of interest.
