Tuesday night
Spot pretty Polish girl on party boat. Am drunk, but shower her with compliments.
Lose her in the crowd.
Wednesday morning
Wake up sure I have a thing for this girl. Cannot even remember her name.
Friday night
Do some Facebook stalking and find who I think is her. Ask the party organiser and he confirms. Add her.
Sunday night
She accepts friendship and confesses I was charming. She's impressed that I tracked her down.
She admits she didn't go to the same bar as me, and I say she could have saved me a lot of trouble. She says I should thank her for the opportunity to use my detective skills.
"In Australia, we typically thank people by buying them dinner"
"Is that a real tradition?"
