I don't get much cluck, to to be a real little one to get me gahgah. My mum always said I was missing the "mother gene". Didn't even play with dolls as a kid.

Cheers thorson!

I'd have kids now if we could afford it. She also wants to be married first despite both of us not being religious.

I wish Drew. She doesn't want a huge wedding but it has to be the real thing. I personally think the idea of marriage is silly, if you love someone just be happy together but ill go along with it for her.

I'd love to get married. But I don't want a wedding. I think that also makes me strange.

They're easy enough to do without too much hassle. Find a beach, pay for a BBQ, get her a dress... You'd be surprised :)

You might think the idea is silly, but standing in front of everyone you love and is important to make a commitment is a pretty powerful act.

Elope. When you find him. Trust me :)

The dance will be horrible!

Do this (wait to 1m30ish)

Tip from an old lady.
You will never be about to afford children.
But you may regret not jumping in sooner.
When can you afford children is a bit like asking how long is a piece of sting.

Kids are the best way to realise what the world is really about. If you think you know what unconditional love is now - wait until you feel it for your child.Your other relationships will be forever transformed.

Trust me ,I know this.

That decision doesn't have be for religious reasons. It can be simply a moral decision, family pressures etc.

I agree with such pithy statements sentiments; what they speak of is generally true.

But I fail to see the women who generally post this (Not you, by the way - others) live the sentiment. Usually, the people I see post this are most concerned about their appearance, clothing etc which is at complete odds with the sentiment of the statement.

Just an observation, BTW - not a crack at you. I know you likely live this out.
