Farah would be on much higher then 500k, not sure if it would reach 900k.
Don't forget we went hard for him last year thanks to his lover boy, Ricky being our coach.
So Wests would have had to match or beat our offer.
But Farah might also be getting the long term player discount (?) so might not be on the cap for that much.

you guys all realise that he doesn't take up 900k of our salary cup right? it's more like ~700k cause we get a veteran player's allowance.....

and 700k out of our cap is sure as hell worth it, was putting up enormous tackle numbers and providing great leadership on the field. The games we missed him we always went to shit, like when we lost to the Eels. Farah's replacement hooker put up 7 missed tackles all by himself.....

To contrast, we offered BENJI MARSHALL 700k to stay with us, which was ludicrous. He was offering nothing on the field, only a bit off the field with the kids and all. Literally shouted with glee when i heard on the radio he had asked for a release. From memory it was during the commentary of a Manly game.

Farah was also quoted as saying that he didn't even talk to another club, he was happy with what the tigers offered him. I've got no doubts its large money (i think I remember around $700k) was talked about. But to us he is worth it, plus he did stay for unders last contract renewal when the titans went hard for him
