    N Not technically correcy since77. Yes, he has had bowel removed and been reconstructed. Yes it is harder for the body to absorb nutriants. It isn't impossible to bulk up though.     It took some time but he has recovered well. It is certainly very traumatic for people who have to go through it. Hopefully Cody is through the other side and it sounds like he is keeping positive and trying to contribute where he can. Wish certain people in our team had the same attitude.

    My son had this disease and they can do wht's called a J pouch which fold the end of the small intestine over itself to form the pouch. This is then attached to the exit port. Bags required for a year whilst things heal.
