You must be one of these snowflakes I read about who gets offended by the truth. He has had half his intestines removed his recovery is unpleasant and involved medical assistance. He is a good kid whose condition makes it unlikely to ever play again let alone in 2025 but sure if your offence at truth offends you then ok. Good luck dealing with life.

'8. Ramsey - poos into a bag'

Not any more, he doesn't. I used to too. But not any more.
Recovery from such things is unpleasant I know … people don’t seem to get how serious it was/is … laughable if people actually think he is playing nrl this year

I and probably most of this forum never expected Ramsey to play in 25, and possibly never again in the NRL.

"laughable if people actually think he is playing nrl this year"

You're the one who put him on your list at 8 with your pathetic "poos in a bag" comment. It's just a tad hypocritical of you, isn't it Rufus?

You're the one being laughed at, not with, for that brain fart of a comment.

it was a list of players in the original post ... i didnt bring that name into discussions ... just laughing at people thinking that a bloke who lost half his guts is close to peak NRL condition.

ok .. so Ramsey didnt have serious abdominal surgery, didnt have a need for a bag, wont have ongoing issues absorbing nutrients into his body ... all it rosey in the world and bad things dont happen to good people ... why isnt he in the top 30 anymore? I guess some people are just not comfortable being presented with the graphic nature of uncomfortable reality. doesnt mean i hate him and dont wish him a long life.

You are missing the point and therefore looking dumber each post

No one has expectations of his return to full contact let alone first grade. Despite that, Cody Ramsey is a f**king champion.

We haven’t had much to be proud of lately but the way Dragons have supported Ramsey has been heartwarming.

You could have easily made your point 8 “Ramsey – Unlikely due to illness”

Stop your bullshit justifications and apologise for being a cold-hearted bastard.

Just for context from someone that knows - Ulcerative Colitis - Sever Bowl infection
If the large intestine is severly compromised, the bowl will be surgically removed.
A stoma will be created using the small intestine and a colostomy bag fitted.
If the sphincter muscle is still funtioning, a J-Pounch can be created from the small intestine. this is used to create a holding pouch for body waste. It is attached to the scphincter. The first colostomy bag is then removed and another temporary bag is created on the other side to allow all surgery to recover.
The bag will then be removed and the J-Pouch will then be in use. It isn't the same as having your bowel, but a good alternatve. If this is indeed the extent of Cody's journey, I have nothing but admiration for his tenacity.

The lack of proven long kicking halves options leads me to believe flanno will pick meter eater wingers early in the season. This will be to compensate for lack of field position through our kicks. I doubt he picks Lawson first up because of his unfamiliarity with rugby league nor Sloan who hasn't played much wing in recent seasons & lack of size.

I think CT will get one spot & S. Finau/Feagai/Allan the other spot.

I think Tuipolotu can go to another level this year, also Lawson will have his chance at training to prove his readiness I'm sure it won't be long until he is in the first team. Finau is also a smokey it's all good problems to have who wants it the most?

This will get sorted out in preseason. But let's put Feagai aside bcs we know what he can do, and so we have Sione Finau and Corey Allan, both in the last year of their contracts. We all know Allan's story.

Finau has great attacking figures for 2024 - 13 tries in 15 matches, 43 tackle breaks and 11 line breaks. Wow!

But the defense...am I reading this wrong? 36 tackles made. 17 missed. 68%. (Sloan is at 83%)

Wingers and defence is a hard one to get a good read on. Overlaps etc but it isn't a great stat to have that's for sure
