    You are missing the point. It was said that Easts don't develop players I was merely pointing out some of the players that Easts have indeed developed. Those players mentioned were just off the top of my head as I said there are many more.

    SG Ball who was the president at the time and who btw was a Souths tragic redrew the boundaries in the 50's. He took those areas away from Easts and gave them to Souths.

    Easts alloted area is tiny, why should they pour money into it? Maybe if they were given Coogee, Randwick and Moore Park then it would be more worth their while. Until then they are left with no other choice but to get their players from other areas which is completely legal.

    Coogee is in the Eastern Suburbs as is Randwick and Moore Park which means Braith Anasta, Craig Wing and countless others are actually Easts juniors and yet they are classified as Souths juniors, go figure and yet a town 100 or more kms away from Canberra is classified as a Canberra stronghold...
