    Other games 2025

The thing about Burto is, if you line him up against Schneider, Talangi, Cole, Laurie - who'd you pick as your 5/8? Everybody with a functional brain would immediately pick Burto without even thinking about it.

Burto also kicked the Roosters to death in that 2nd half. He basically forced 3-4 errors deep inside Roosters territory. If that had been any other half kicking it those 3-4 errors basically don't happen or at worst would be 1 or 2.

Buddha in the box: Why Ivan Cleary is the Zen master

I would argue that our run of success was a hugely collaborative effort. Gus of course started it and he sowed many of the seeds for our success even though he left before we reaped the benefits. He was a big part in building our stacked roster, as well as creating the academy, upgrading our...

    Lower Grades 2025

Yeah, it's sort of funny how we have all forgotten about him in the #14 convo. He can cover #1, #6 and wing offers more flexibility than Sommerton, Trent and even Cole.

Buddha in the box: Why Ivan Cleary is the Zen master

Thanks for the review. I still share that view of Ivan. I think Strategically and tactically he is a slightly above average coach and I would also agree that he was blessed with a stacked squad who had the right attributes that just happen to gel very well with Ivans coaching style. The real...

Rumoured & Confirmed Signings (2025 Season)

I might be Naive, but I still think he has a lot of potential and I believe he can sort out his mental issues.

Rumoured & Confirmed Signings (2025 Season)

We need some speed and dynamic ball running (in the same package) Taylan May has it.

    Round 10 Vs Cowboys

This is why having and utilising a good bench is so important. Panthers 2020-2024 relied upon 'fresh legs' of youth to carry them through physically. But now that our players are more mature, not only do they have wear and tear they are also carrying more injuries, and take longer to recover...

    Round 10 Vs Cowboys

I guess the point is that any option - Cole, Sommerton, or Trent were better options for our bench than Scheider was.

    Round 10 Vs Cowboys

Exactly. At least he can cover halves AND centre. Schneider can only cover the halves (and he is not that good at it either)

    Round 10 Vs Cowboys

Blaize was a bit iffy late in the game. Butchered the try with a forward pass to To'o sometime in the last 10-15 mins then in extra time he threw a hospital pass to Jenkins which 9 times out of 10 results in a knock on. I couldn't believe people were filthy with Jenkins for that one. That play...

    Round 10 Vs Cowboys

What's worse is being up by 12 and camping on their line for multiple sets then not only doing nothing with it - but giving away a penalty followed by a try. The game should have been done by halftime 24-6. Also should have been 36-18 with 10 to go but we are just throwing away chances when...

    Round 10 Vs Cowboys

Cleary could have demanded the ball!!! Instead he looked uncharacteristically meek. It was weird seeing him basically have the exactly the opposite attitude/performance as last week.

    Round 10 Vs Cowboys

Yeah, Sommerton on the Bench means we could hook Kenny who honestly had an awful game offensively. Sommerton was excellent last week and was a big part of how we developed momentum. Kenny was a zombie out there tonight.

    Round 10 Vs Cowboys

Even Yeo had 2-3 brain snaps in the dying minutes. It was crazy seeing him flick the stupidity switch.
