Witt I really don't believe the fans are divided or take sides in the JV marriage. It is one team now and will remain that way as SGI Dragons.
However, the problem seems to be at management level that have agendas & power struggle issues. This is certainly an ongoing problem & could be responsible in our culture.
For the Joe blow fan it's about supporting our team & being proud.
When we’re winning we’re united.

When we’re losing, some legacy saints fans point the finger south rather than at the mirror..

It’s easier to blame someone else than it is to admit fault and fix the issue..

Yes Muzby I do agree and sometimes the management/Board need to take a good look in the mirror.
It certainly doesn't help the divide when you have a Head Coach from down south that never looks in a mirror, but is a master of deflecting blame in any direction.

Has anybody heard any news about Phil Gould being appointed in a "Coaching Director" type role at the Dragons this year (like he did at the Roosters when Sticky was coach). I believe there were rumors of secret talks going on about this last year around the time he did the "review". Brace yourself for Mary's appointment as the NRL's first ever Coach for Life if this ever happens: nightmare scenario!

Yes, the club does have an "Illawarra" feel about it but let's not deflect blame from the real culprit in all this, Danny Robinson. He is the one that has run this great club into the ground.

Dont know about that , how about we start with the present board , who have been there through all this, as the real culprits ? At least Danny can demonstrate that despite a lot of up's and downs over the years he has got the Leagues club profitable. His first priority is the licensed club and make sure that the football club ultimately just don't inherit land value if the joint closed down.

All applications must be on hold because no no one has contacted me

You need to move to the Illawarra if you want to be considered. The global recruiting net has again been cast far and wide - about 50 square kilometres.

Straight Shooter

And I reckon the only casting done will be in votes for Albert, who parades around like a Sherman tank.

There’ll be an 88mm Tiger waiting for him & Mc85 in an Illawarra hedgerow Rd 1 - just to kick the Blitzkrieg off.

Helmets please

Fail Mary

So according to the Mole it is down to 4 applicants of which Craig Young is one, as per his article reported Today:

The only good news in that is the mole is seldom correct and let's hope he keeps it that way.
Starting to look like another crony from the Illawarra being looked after.
If they are considering him you would have to ask why didn't they consider Nighty because he would have more experience in accounting, profit & loss, more popular with fans and certainly more people skills than Albert maybe coming from a Renown background isn't considered kosher?

Yes that’s a good point OT, concerning the Mole’s success rate. If they are only looking for ex player candidates that reside in the Gong region, you’d have to think Ben Creagh would make a better choice than bloody Albert. At least Ben has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Uni & now works in the business world.
Nothing will surprise me with our Boards warped decision making.

It's getting so laughable it's tragic.
Just like the old days of if you didn't play for us you won't be coaching us which we have also tragically slipped back into despite some external coaches having been very good.
