Parra at home for the fifth week in a row, facing the third of the Queensland powerhouses, having put 80 on the other two, both in Qld mind you. This will be somewhat harder, but Parra have bought an excellent footy team and have been beating some pretty good opponents so I doubt the Cows are quite there yet. I'd love to be wrong about that though.

If we want to be seen as contenders we need to beat the Cowboys convincingly. Our pack on paper and form (to date) is better. No McLean is a big out even though he hasn’t been great since going up north.

Small crowd at bankwest will give eels an advantage. The cutouts made home ground advantage irrelevant , the bankwest advantage is having a crowd rev the team up with the crowd being close to the action

McLean is no loss to the cows. A slow lumbering forward that isn't suited to the faster game. Molo is much better.

Let's see if Holmes can have an impact. Still think he's hugely overpaid for a winger impersonating a fullback
