What he said was that he had an opportunity to sign with them for the 2016 season, didn't, and had pangs of regret, because it could have been him winning a comp that night.

I don't see what's wrong with that - I'm sure everyone here has experienced some form of "buyer's remorse", or another, at some stage in their life...

As for the allegations against him, if they're proven correct, well...yeah, he won't be seen as a particularly good bloke...

I still maintain that because of the salary cap situation Greenberg was not going to let Hayne come back to Parra.
