The Rabbitohs have confirmed their R12 Indigenous Game vs Parramatta will be held at Accor Stadium on Saturday 25 May 2024:

This game was possibly going to be held at Allianz Stadium, but due to a late season surge by Sydney FC in the A-League, they have priority over the Rabbitohs on this date (should the stadium be needed for A-League finals series).
That's disappointing. Both clubs had been working hard to make it a bigger event this year, with all ticketed Eels members getting a ticket to the match at Allianz. Whilst I'm sure it will be honoured, I don't know if the take up will be as high.

Roosters game enjoyed some decent sales last night with the 20% off offer. Biggest thing hurting this game is the fact the ANZAC Day match is only next week. The match has definitely moved a lot more tickets than what the Waratahs had last Friday (which named 12,894) so assuming the same method of counting is used 14-16K is definitely in the mix. Corporates for Thursday have sold well, so that should ensure there will be some people on Level 2.
The ANZAC game isn't our home game this year so perhaps not as big a deterrent as it would be if it were a chooks home game.

I'm hoping for 15k too and that would be a phenomenal result.

This fixture has been played 16 times in Sydney and the only 3 occasions it has got more than 15k were the 2015 QF, 2018 GF and 2019 PF. The regular season games have more often than not got under 10k, so 15k on a Thursday would speak volumes of the job the club has done to form an attendance culture as well as the value of the new stadium.

The NRL Anzac Day game shits all over the fumbleball Anzac Day game.

We have the crowds and the tv eyeballs and a national and international profile that AFL can only drool over.

Isn’t the AFL game played in front of 90k white people?

My strange Victorian brother in law became deeply offended when he said "My family have been Essendon supporters since 1889" and I burst out laughing
Lol. So true. A lot of them are extremely inbreed down south of the border. They are not allowed to marry supporters outside their family team.

We got 19k against them in a 2013 regular season game.

Broncos vs Raiders is still on track for 35-38k. The weather outlook doesn’t look the best, but hopefully this changes.

I don’t think we’ll beat the 38,800 that attended this fixture in 2010, but that was a unique situation where if the Broncos won by 8 points or more, they made the finals. But I expect this to be the second largest Broncos vs Raiders crowd at Suncorp. We’ll just need to get over the 35,112 that attended in 2009 which was another final round and they traditionally draw well.
