Off the field, I mean.

Getting this done without a single peep or murmur is some effort and shows how professionally run they are now.
Wonder how quickly it happened. Panthers didnt really make a play at Terrell May due to no space under the cap. If we knew Fish was gone, we probably sign him easily considering his desire to play alongside Taylan.

This had to have been something that happened recently and quickly.

Approached Panthers this week with the request so sounds like there was absolutely no push back by the Panthers

Seems that way. Is his family back in NZ? Could be a reason. Things can happen and circumstances can change pretty quickly when it comes to family.

Not sure why they would. He is getting towards the backend of his career.

off the field has a sick family member and wants to go home.

Both of those reasons meant there is no point in fighting it

Penrith for the most part have been spot on with their player retention over the past 4-5 years.

Today is their first big mistake imo….and it’s a huge one.

Mate, he's only 28. Plenty of years left for a prop.

But if he is going back for family reasons, you'd have to be pretty cold hearted to say no.

Yeah but the same age as Moses and on good coin. This allows a natural re set and is good for Fish too

Nah, If a bloke like Fish asks for that he has a bloody good reason. Gutted so see him go, but he has earned the right to be granted his wishes. The ewes in NZ should be in for a torrid few days of "celebration" Massive pick up for the Wahs.
