Our starting middle of Leota, Fish and Yeo are all closing in on thirty with the associated wear and tear.

I thought next year would be when murmurs began about refreshing the middle.

This is a shock but Fish has given everything on the field for Penrith and I hope he kills it at the Warriors taking them to a grand final loss each season he is there.

I’d totally take that.

Its the ideal scenario for NRL fans.

We all get the Penrith grand final win in 2024 which makes everyone happy. And the Warriors get another opportunity in 2025 (And probably win against the hapless Broncos).

Johnson and RTS retire as winners. PVL announces NZ team 2 for 2027. NZRU collapses and RL dominates the great land of NZ for the rest of time.

Approached Panthers this week with the request so sounds like there was absolutely no push back by the Panthers
Frees up boatload of cap space, they may keep Turuva now. And NZ let AFB go so their offer probably blew Panthers best out of the water as the Cats have numerous signed longterm, including paying overs for their centres IMO.

Liam Henry looks a good replacement, others coming through?

Yeah we have a few internal options longer term, whether they are ready yet is the question

I'll never forget watching JFH and Yeo coming through, thinking they would be solid FGers but nothing special.

Worst mistake I've made since wondering why the Cows kept Michael Morgan on the the books through the juniors, boy did I get that one wrong LOL!!!

Ha ha, I remember Yeo debuting in the centres & being pissed Ivan picked "this plodder" over it was either George or Rob Jennings. Shows how much I know....

Always though Fish would be something pretty good though.
